I woke up to this headline in The Washington Post 11/6/24 - "Trump Triumphs" so t oday, I am going to write. Just now, I dropped the two classes I don’t have time for and don’t care about the cost. Later, I am going to scrub the bathtub and put away the laundry. Earlier this morning, I walked the dog two blocks farther than we usually go. We made it to the edge of the college and watched young people practice running. When I got dressed, I decided I was going to wear black. Today, I stood in the shower for two minutes longer than usual and was grateful I have the privilege of standing in the shower for as long as I want to. This afternoon, I am going to go into my “studio” and paint on canvas. I’m not sure what will emerge, but I’m going to let my emotion show itself in color and shape.
